Jessie Tobin is a research assistant for NYKids and a doctoral candidate in the Department of Educational Policy and Leadership at the University at Albany SUNY. Jessie’s current work centers youth voice and lived experiences using participatory action research methods. Through her research, Jessie explores the resources and opportunities available in community school settings and their relationships with Positive Youth Development. In her free time, you might find Jessie snowboarding in the winter or walking her dog while listening to paranormal mystery podcasts.
