Calls to better prepare ethnically and linguistically diverse and economically disadvantaged young people for college and career point to a number of concerns including qualities of family relationships and community partnerships and social and emotional well being as well as the the importance of culturally responsive school cultures, climates, and pedagogies. Assessment data and use of effective interventions for struggling students have also been highlighted as critical to students’ success in high school and beyond.
This interactive session will feature a Q&A session and participants sharing actionable next steps for addressing college and career readiness in their home schools and districts.
